SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) – Do you want to get paid nearly $40,000 to dog-sit? Then, this may be the job for you!
According to the British newspaper Metro, a Kensington couple is looking for a live-in caretaker to look over their two dogs: Milo and Oscar the golden retrievers.
"A busy couple are looking for a live-in housekeeper at their [6-story] townhouse in Knightsbridge," stated the job advertisement on Silver Swan Search - an international job recruitment agency.
The ad continues:
They are both international business people who travel frequently and have 2 dogs. This is an informal property and they need someone to keep on top of the house while they come and go and to have sole responsibility of the dogs in their absence.
The only catch: you're required to do some housekeeping.
The ideal candidate to supervise Milo and Oscar must meet the following prerequisites:
- MUST have a passion for dog care
- Experience looking after dogs is essential
- Good housekeeping experience
- Any cooking experience would be advantageous
- Fit and active
- Hardworking and trustworthy
The daily responsibilities for the position include daily housekeeping, morning and evening dog walks, laundry, light cooking, food shopping, greeting visitors and taking calls, running errands, liaising with dogwalkers and cleaners, general property management and other daily housekeeping tasks.
The position's salary is around 30,000 to 32,000 pounds (about $38,500 to $40,000) annually and includes room and board. The shifts are Monday through Friday with occasional weekends.
